Avanse Financial Services, one of the leading players in the education financing sector, focuses on its strategic plans to expand and diversify its distribution network while strengthening its digital marketing efforts.

It aims to further diversify its product suite to meet the needs of an expanding demographic of borrowers, especially in response to recent macroeconomic trends that have seen a surge in students pursuing undergraduate programs abroad.

In line with its strategy to broaden its borrower base, the company is expanding its portfolio of domestic education loans to include financing options for K-12 students, test preparation courses and skill development programs.

This aligns with the company’s mission to make education financing seamless and affordable for every deserving student. Thus, it serves students aspiring to study abroad and caters to the increasing demand for domestic education financing across the country.

To capture a fast-growing borrower base, the company plans to ramp up its partnerships with educational service providers and leverage technology to create a more seamless borrowing experience.

The company has adopted a hybrid approach, combining physical branches and a third-party distribution network to grow the business. About 16 per cent of the company’s student loan disbursements for international education came from its direct acquisition channel, compared to 15 per cent in FY23.

As part of its broader growth strategy, Avanse Financial Services expanded its product offerings and coverage. The company now serves students at 1,585 universities across 49 countries, demonstrating the global reach of its international education loan portfolio.

Avanse Financial Services will also focus on strengthening its domestic operations through a multi-channel distribution model. Its physical presence spans 19 branches and strategically located sales representative offices across major education hubs in India. The company leverages a vast network of education counsellors, direct selling agents and digital channels to service borrowers in 545 locations nationwide.
