The 2024 NFL season is just two weeks away, which means fans are in the thick of their 2024 Fantasy football draft prep. Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been a mainstay in league-winning Fantasy teams in recent years, but he is also the first quarterback off the board according to many 2024 Fantasy football rankings. There can still be value on early-round players, but it also makes it more likely that they become 2024 Fantasy football busts. Other quarterbacks battling for the top spot in the 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings include Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.
The only way to feel comfortable with your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy is to use a set of 2024 Fantasy football rankings. If you’re looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He’d go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he’d finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen is coming off of back-to-back seasons as QB1, averaging 23.1 Fantasy points per game. He capped off his 2023 campaign with 4,306 passing yards and 29 touchdowns and added a career-high 15 rushing TDs. There are some question marks surrounding the Bills offense since Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are no longer with the team, but Allen is still expected to have a stellar fantasy season.
2. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts saw a slight dip in production last season due to the Eagles overall offensive woes, but he remains a top fantasy get heading into the 2024 season. Hurts’ stock stays high since he is so effective on the ground, as he totaled 15 rushing touchdowns of his own in 2023.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson has been a top-3 fantasy quarterback twice over his career including last season, and both of those times resulted in him getting MVP honors. In 2023, Jackson completed 67.2% of his passes for 3,678 yards and added 821 yards on the ground. His rushing abilities continue to make him one of the top picks for Fantasy football rosters. Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey had a bit of a scare with a calf injury in training camp, but he’s been spotted at practice working out as it seems he should be in line to play Week 1. Even with the injury concerns, it’s hard to imagine taking anyone else as RB1 over McCaffrey unless he had a setback during recovery. McCaffrey had more than 100 points more than any other running back in PPR scoring last season and he’s finished as an RB1 or RB2 overall in each of the last four seasons he’s played a full slate of games.
2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall was the first running back selected in the 2022 NFL Draft (Round 2, No. 36 overall) and he proved why last season with the ability to be a key playmaker both rushing and receiving. Hall rushed for 994 yards despite facing crowded boxes all season long with the Jets having arguably the worst quarterback play in the league. He led all running backs with 76 receptions last year. The Jets will be vastly different this season with Aaron Rodgers back from injury, but regardless, Hall will be a huge part of the offense.
3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles didn’t give Barkley a three-year, $37.75 million deal in free agency for him to be just a complimentary piece. Jalen Hurts has led the NFL in rushing touchdowns (28) over the last two seasons, but Barkley can take some of the goal-line pressure off Hurts. Even with Barkley being virtually the only offensive threat on the Giants last season, he still posted 1,242 total yards over 14 games (88.7 yards per game) and without coaches able to focus solely on stopping him, he could have a huge season in Philly. Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: The 25-year-old has steadily improved each season of his professional career, racking up 1,749 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in 2023. Lamb finished as the WR1 in Fantasy points per game, and he closed the season by surpassing 100 receiving yards in seven of his final 12 games. He ranked fourth in the league in target share and fifth in yards per route run.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill finished second overall at his position last season with nearly 300 Fantasy points, averaging just under 20 points per game. He had more than 1,700 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, leading the league in yards per route run (3.72). Hill is now 30 years old, but there have been no signs of regression to this point.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown completes the trifecta from last season, as he finished third among wide receivers with 16.5 Fantasy points per game. He finished with 1,371 receiving yards and nine touchdowns while commanding a 30% target share and 34% air yards share. St. Brown signed a massive contract extension this offseason, which made him the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL at the time. See more top WRs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Despite snapping a run of seven straight seasons with 1,000 or more receiving yards in 2023, Kelce was still among the most productive Fantasy tight ends in the league. The 34-year-old caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns last season, which was a step back for him, but still enough for him to be a top-three tight end when it was all said and done. Kelce led all tight ends on a points-per-game basis last season and has finished as the No. 1 overall tight end in six of the last eight seasons.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: LaPorta had a sensational rookie season in Detroit, catching 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. Now entering his second season with the Lions, LaPorta should continue to benefit from the explosive playmakers featured in Detroit’s offense. With Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs attracting plenty of attention from opposing defenses, LaPorta is in line to have another successful season in 2024.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews was on pace to have one of the best years of his career in 2023 before an ankle injury ended his season prematurely. In 10 games, the former Oklahoma standout caught 45 passes for 544 yards and six touchdowns. Andrews is set to enter the 2024 season completely healthy and will be looking to reclaim his status as the No. 1 target for reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. See more top TEs here.
