Packers quarterback Jordan Love proved he can provide value for Fantasy football 2024 owners after a breakout season in 2023. Last year, Love took over for Aaron Rodgers and averaged 22.5 Fantasy points per game, including seven outings with at least 26.3. He spread the ball around to a diverse receiving corps that is loaded with talent, and all of those weapons return in 2024. Will Love be able to duplicate that success and be among the top options in the 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings, or should your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy involve drafting another quarterback like Anthony Richardson, Jared Goff, or Kirk Cousins? With advanced 2024 Fantasy football rankings, you can make informed decisions throughout your drafts and prepare for any major runs at specific positions. If you’re looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He’d go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he’d finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues. The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers. Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football cheat sheets 2024 and draft advice, along with its top Fantasy QB, WR, RB and TE picks. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts has a plethora of weapons on offense and the Eagles added running back Saquon Barkley to a unit that already featured A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Hurts is coming off another successful season in 2023, throwing for 3,858 yards and 23 touchdowns, both of which were career-highs. He also added 15 rushing touchdowns last season, proving he has a high Fantasy ceiling again this year.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen is a dual-threat quarterback who has all the intangibles needed to win your Fantasy football championship. Allen has finished QB1 or QB2 four times since 2019, throwing for more than 4,000 yards in each of his last four seasons. He’s also proven to be a capable runner, especially in the red zone. Last season, Allen averaged 4.7 yards per carry and rushed for 15 touchdowns.3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Mahomes was 10th among passers last season with just 20.9 Fantasy points per game, however, Kansas City’s offense added some serious speed on the outside this offseason. The Chiefs signed Marquise Brown and drafted Xavier Worthy, giving Mahomes the option to connect for splash plays or find wide-open receivers closer to the line of scrimmage. Mahomes has posted a pair of 5,000-yard passing seasons and should be in line for a bounce-back Fantasy campaign in 2024. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey missed 23 games combined in 2020 and 2021 but that all seems like a distant memory. He’s coming off his first NFL rushing championship and also led the league in total scrimmage yards (2,023) and total touchdowns (21). He’s an ideal fit in the San Francisco offense and a pretty easy choice for top overall pick in 2024 Fantasy football drafts.
2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: After missing 10 games as a rookie, Hall returned to action in 2023 and rushed for 994 yards and five touchdowns while also adding 76 catches for 591 yards and four touchdowns. His 77 evaded tackles were the most of any NFL running back and now that Aaron Rodgers is back, it should be harder for opposing defenses to gameplan for him.3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: In six years with the Giants, Barkley produced 7,311 scrimmage yards and 47 touchdowns in 74 games. Now he’ll play behind a better offensive line and with better talent at all the other skill positions in Philadelphia and the model is predicting that he jumps back into the top three among Fantasy football running backs. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: In addition to leading the NFL in receptions, Lamb finished with 1,749 receiving yards and scored 14 total touchdowns during an All-Pro season. He was targeted 181 times and had at least 13 passes thrown his way seven times during the regular season. He was targeted an additional 17 times in Dallas’ playoff loss to Green Bay and he could be in line for 200 targets in 2024.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: While Lamb led the NFL in receptions, Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13). It was his second season in a row with at least 119 receptions and 1,700 yards, and his 33.7% target share and 36.9% target rate from last season should carry over again in 2024.3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: A fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, St. Brown has far exceeded expectations at every step of his career. He caught 119 passes for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023 despite battling nagging injuries and was targeted on 35.2% of red-zone passing attempts. See more top WRs here.Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankingsHere’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks: 1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce missed a couple of games in 2024 and failed to reach 1,000 yards for the first time since 2015 but he still finished as a top-three Fantasy football tight end for an eighth consecutive season. With the offseason additions of Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown, opposing defenses should have a harder time keying in on Kelce and that’s a big reason why the model puts him back on top of its TE rankings for 2024.
2. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Between 2019 and 2022, Andrews averaged 76 catches for 940 yards and eight touchdowns while making three Pro Bowls. In 2023, he missed seven games but still paced for over 70 catches, 900 yards and 10 touchdowns over 17 games. He’s healthy again and there’s no reason to expect a falloff in production.3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: A second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, LaPorta’s utilization rates were heavy from the start of his rookie season and he made the most of his opportunities. He was targeted 120 times and caught 86 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’ll have a chance to be even better in Year Two of working in Ben Johnson’s offense.
