Brock Purdy’s rise from Mr. Irrelevant to NFL superstar has been well-chronicled. Purdy threw for 4,280 yards and 31 touchdowns in 16 games last season and also led the NFL in yards per pass attempt (9.6). However, his 2024 Fantasy football ADP is only 88.30 and he has been only the 11th quarterback off the board on average in the 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings. Purdy’s physical talents aren’t overwhelming and he plays in one of the most talented offenses in the NFL, but that shouldn’t bother you if you’re looking for 2024 Fantasy football picks with upside in the seventh round or later. With a reliable set of live-updated 2024 Fantasy football rankings, you can figure out when to target players for maximum value. If you’re looking for 2024 Fantasy football advice, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would fail to live up to his Fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 Fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver off the board on average. He’d go on to notch a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions with four touchdowns and he’d finish as the No. 34 Fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The 2024 Fantasy football PPR rankings and 2024 Fantasy football standard projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice and the latest Fantasy football tiers.

Top 2024 Fantasy football QB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football QB picks:
1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Over the last four seasons, Allen has averaged 4,385 yards and 34 touchdowns through the air while adding roughly 618 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. He’s been QB1, QB1, QB2 and QB1 during that span and that reliability is what you’re banking on if you’re investing an early pick at quarterback.
2. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts set new career-highs in passing yards (3,858) and passing touchdowns (23) last season and also rushed for 605 yards and 15 scores. He’s had 38 rushing touchdowns the last three years and with his passing numbers on the rise, he’s got enormous upside in 2024.
3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Jackson won his second NFL MVP last year after throwing for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns with only seven interceptions. He also rushed for 821 yards and five touchdowns, and continues to be one of the most dynamic runners in the NFL. He doesn’t offer the goal-line impact of Allen or Hurts but he’s still a rock-solid option as QB3. See more top QBs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football RB rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football RB picks:
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: He’s battled a calf injury this preseason but there aren’t any concerns about his availability for Week 1. Since joining the 49ers, McCaffrey has 3,233 scrimmage yards and 31 touchdowns in 27 games and that level of productivity is exactly why he’s a consensus No. 1 overall pick in PPR drafts.
2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall tore his ACL in the middle of his rookie season and was on a pitch count as he continued to recover early in the season. However, that didn’t stop him from piling up 1,585 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns on the season. He was New York’s best offensive weapon in 2023 and he should be even more dynamic in 2024 now that Aaron Rodgers is back to keep defenses honest.
3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Barkley missed three games and played in a generally abysmal offense but still managed 1,242 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023. Now he joins an Eagles offense that is much more balanced and the model is predicting that will elevate Barkley’s production in 2024. See more top RBs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football WR rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football WR picks:
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Lamb is technically on the commissioner’s exempt list after his holdout, but that was semantic to allow Dallas temporary roster flexibility. Now that he’s signed a new contract, he’ll be in the Cowboys’ lineup in Week 1 coming off a dominant season where he had 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Lamb led the NFL in receptions but Hill led the league in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13). He’s caught at least 119 passes in each of his two seasons in Miami and also topped 1,700 yards in both seasons. Could he be a threat for 2,000 in 2024?
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: A fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, St. Brown has already established himself as one of the NFL’s most consistent receivers. He had a seven-game stretch where he had six 100-yard receiving outings early in 2023 and then had at least six catches for 90 yards and a score in each of the last four weeks of the season. Then he added 22 catches for 274 yards and a touchdown in three postseason games. See more top WRs here.
Top 2024 Fantasy football TE rankings
Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three 2024 Fantasy football TE picks:
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: Kelce wasn’t able to extend his streak of 1,000-yard receiving seasons last year but he was only 16 yards shy and he still caught 93 passes despite missing two games. He was top five at his position in pretty much every Fantasy-relevant statistical category except touchdowns in 2023 and you can probably build in some positive touchdown regression into your 2024 projections.
2. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: As a rookie, LaPorta played 83.7% of Detroit offensive snaps and he led all tight ends with 10 touchdown receptions. He caught 86 passes for 889 yards overall and it’s probably he’s even more involved in Dan Campbell’s offense in 2024.
3. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews missed seven games in 2023 because of a cracked fibula but he’s healthy entering the 2024 season and should yield top-of-the-position production as he always has. His 2.01 yards per route run ranked third among NFL tight ends last year and he’ll be an important part of the Baltimore offense this season. See more top TEs here.
