The Red Wings will look to make it six wins in a row tonight at home against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Hawks come into town off of a win over the Colorado Avalanche where Petr Mrazek stood on his head and kept the Avs to just one goal on 36 shots. Mrazek, a former Red Wing, will get the start tonight at Little Caesars Arena.
We’ll see a slightly different lineup from Todd McLellan tonight as he continues to tinker with his roster. McLellan is giving Marco Kasper a look on the top line alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. Really excited to see how the young forward performs — he’s been excellent this year and is always a guy you can rely on to “skate his ass off.”
Jeff Petry remains out, so Albert Johansson will be in tonight’s lineup. AlJo, like Kasper, has looked solid in his recent starts. Cam Talbot will get the start with Ville Husso as his backup — Alex Lyon should be back in short order.
